Besides, it's a lot more fun than a studio session! Indoor portraits can be taken in homes or offices, with spectacular architectural interiors or even in public buildings. You can also be photographed at the lake, on the beach, in the country, at a park, on the golf course, etc. Outdoor settings add richness and beauty to your images and offer endless variety.
Outdoor Dynamics: Part of the drama and appeal of outdoor photography is the infinite combination of elements--light, background, weather; all uncontrollable elements. The situation requires a flexible and responsive photographer, as the mastery of the art becomes evident in not only the photography but in the ability to trust the One who is in control of the elements. One of the most exciting and rewarding parts of environmental portraiture is the dynamic of God's hand in nature. Studio Sessions: Sometimes, a formal studio setting is preferred or appropriate. (Especially in the winter when it is windy or rainy) Just this year, Suzette opened her beautiful new studio in Sacramento, California to do studio sessions, and of course, meet for consultations and viewing images from your session.
